Ferala Luxembourg now offers a clothing alteration atelier staffed by our seamstresses, who boast over 25 years of experience in high-end alterations, located directly on the upper floor of our boutique at 30 rue Notre-Dame. From hemming suit trousers and adjusting jackets to altering coats and suits, every garment is altered with the same meticulous care as our bespoke creations.
Altering a garment often makes the difference between a piece that "fits" and one that drapes perfectly. Our seamstresses apply the same artisanal techniques to both ready-to-wear and bespoke pieces as they do to craft our bespoke men's suits and women's suits. Hemming suit trousers, adjusting the waist, or fitting a coat requires a precision that only a seamstress trained in the exacting standards of bespoke tailoring can guarantee.

Appointments for one or more alterations can be booked directly online, in the same section as your bespoke appointments. Simply select "Alterations Appointment" when booking. Making an appointment guarantees the availability of our seamstresses and ensures the most comfortable fitting possible.
We are open Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM by appointment only.
FAQ
Do you have to have bought your garment from FERALA to have it altered?
No. Our seamstresses alter both your FERALA pieces and clothes bought elsewhere: suits, coats, shirts and women's outfits.
What is the turnaround time for an alteration?
The turnaround time depends on the complexity of the repair. A simple hem can be done quickly, while taking in a jacket or completely altering a coat takes longer. The exact turnaround time will be given to you during your fitting.
Can a lined coat be altered?
Yes, hemming coats with lining is one of our standard services; the lining is hemmed at the same time as the outer fabric for an invisible finish.
How do I book an alterations appointment ?
